Grammy buzz

So the Grammys came on last night and I was to say the least, bored out of my damn mind. Not that I was expecting something like the Vibe/BET awards or anything like that, but I just wasn't entertained. And then this morning on the Russ Parr show (sonnyswife) listeners ticked me off even more. First off, everyone was calling and complaining on how Kelly Clarkson shouldn't have won this and who she should have thanked, etc. It was pissing me off b/c...how the hell are you going to tell her who she needs to thank.

And I hate when people call in and try to use words and then use them wrong. This one lady calls in and says that Kelly is so "IN-grateful" for not thanking American Idol when she won. I didn't know that was a word you IGnant fool. And why are you calling the radio station anyway. Either drive your damn car, or do some damn work. Another thing, I thought it was quite tacky to have Mariah nominated for 8 damn Grammy's, but you don't even give her one on the air. She got all of them before the show aired. I thought that was messed up. Few more comments:

1. Why was Kanye looking like a foolywag with that damn shirt w/ his taco meat showing. And what was w/ them Blueblocker shades? And WTF was the gloves for?

2. Who did Ciara's hair? I know the new Red Carpet style is the ponytails, but her ponytail was a raggedy mess. It was all fried, died, and laid to the side. And did anyone catch her singing the Sly song? Proof that she can't sing worth a damn.
3. I hate to go there Ladyliston, but WTF!?!?!? If I see Mary J wear that country ass crown braid across her head one mo time.......And she was all off pitch. I hate when she tries to reach a note that she for damn sure know she can't reach, and then screams at the top of her lungs. NEWS FLASH Mary...screaming in a mic is not singing. It's just annoying as hell. And WTF was up w/ her "Xena: Warrior Princess" outfit? She looked like an extra in "Blade".


4. What the hell is this and how did he get on the Grammy's lookin like this?

5. Now I think Beyonce usually looks FANTABULOUS, but she wasn't hittin on nothing w/ that scruffy ass $14.99 ponytail from Holly Beauty (Chesapeake thing).

6. Mariah always finds a way to mess up a live performance. She sounded a retched mess singing "We Belong Together". But I will say that I enjoyed her second performance. Even though it sounded a little like she had a background vocal track playing and in some parts it didnt sound like her singing at all. But I was feeling the choir coming out to sing that song. It's a really pretty song. But why does Mariah use all that hand movement? And did anybody see her balling up her fist trying to hold that one note in "We Belong Together". Freakin hilarious

7. Do I even need to tell you why Fantasia burned me up. Why does homegirl have to scream at you when she's singing? She's another Mary J Blige, but something about her scream is a little more terrifying. And must she do the "church hop" every time she sings. And why she alwasy making those faces looking remedial?

8. Why were there so many country music bits? Nobody listens to that mess. It was so insignificant

9. Was it just me, or did Jay Z look less camel-ish, and more debonair

10. I don't know about yall, but I was just happy not to see the following people: 50 Cent, Omarosa, and Britney Spears...oh damn, Britney was at Mariah's after party looking dirty and smelling like day old cabbage

11. Jaime Foxx was looking kinda good.

12. Who laughed after Mariah performed when Terri Hatcher said, "I feel like we've all just been saved." LMAO!!!!!! Whitey made a joke...lol

13. Who's bright idea was it not to invite Wiggy and Bobby? I mean, really?

14. Did anyone see Eva at the red carpet doing too much for the camera. She urks me now

15. Alicia looked really nice. But I wasn't feeling her hair with that swoop bang from one ear to the other. Hey, but she's trying

16. Like I said, hate to talk about the chil'runs, but The Game's son has a big ol' kickball head. Or maybe a skeetball...sorry Lord

17. I'm not going to tell this trick one mo time. If she don't get rid of that poodle shag........

So as you can see, although the Grammy's didn't provide entertainment, it sure provided me w/ lots to talk about.
