NBA wives
I was getting my daily fix of gossip when I found these pictures and looked at the comments that people made about the pictures. I found that alot of people were calling the women ugly and saying that they could have done better, blah blah blah. It's funny, b/c I've made some of those same comments before. But when it comes down to it, I love to see BLACK LOVE. Especially since so many of our men are down with the "swirl" or playing for the "other team".
But I had to think about some of these comments and ask myself if they came from HATE. I mean, if these dudes were messing with a white girl, we would be whooping and hollering that he was a sellout. Well, he has a black woman (in both instances, someone they have been with since high school b4 the fame and fortune) and women still aren't satisfied. Then I thought about it and came up with the conclusion that: WOMEN ARE HATERS!!!! I mean, it doesn't matter what you look like, a female will find a reason to hate on you. And I will admit, I have fallen victim to this hatred many times in my lifetime on both sides of the fence. But at least I'm admitting it. Where does it all stem from? Is it jealousy? And when do you develop these hater tendencies?
My boyfriend tells me all the time that women are haters by nature. Then I thought about this one friend that I had who was the epitome of a hater. I think I learned some of my best hatin from her. This chick was someone I went to college with and was the type that talked about everybody. It was all funny until you sat back and thought to yourself, "if she's talking about the next chick, I know she's talking about me". And if you thought that, best believe you were right. I found out that I was right about her all along. Now, this chick was a lonely broad. She didn't have a man of her own so the friends that she did have, she made sure that they were lonely right along with her. She liked NONE of our boyfriends and made it her perogative to dip and dabble in our business. I remember the moment that I lost respect for her as a person. She went back to another friend's boyfriend and told him she was cheating. Thats when I knew this chick didn't play. She was a MVP in Hating for that one. From that point, I never trusted her, but kept her at a distance and knew my limits with her. And I always knew that if this trick tried me, I wouldn't waste a second jabbin her in the chin. But I'm not a violent person :)
So my point in all this is, WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? :)
